Frequently Asked Questions

Rest assured that we are always here for you, and issues will be resolved with our guidance. Please do not worry.

What should be done first?

You should contact the Marm Road Assistance line, available 24/7 at the number 444 0 556, and report the accident. They will provide support in any situation that has occurred or may occur. If you require extra assistance, you can also contact our other airport offices such as Sabiha Gökçen Airport (02163982832) and Istanbul Airport (02122442832), which also operate 24/7.

What to do after an accident?

Without altering the position of the vehicle at the time of the accident, the accident site, as well as the vehicle or vehicles involved in the accident (ensuring that the number plates are visible in at least one photograph), should be photographed. In one-sided accidents (damage to our vehicle while parked or colliding with a stationary vehicle, or any one-sided accidents), the police or gendarmerie should be called to file a report. In cases involving two or more vehicles, the licenses, insurance policies, and driver's licenses of the other vehicles involved in the accident must be photographed front and back, and the accident report must be fully completed.

Police & Gendarmerie Report:

In situations requiring a police or gendarmerie report, insurance will not cover the damage without these reports. If there is no stamp and registration numbers of personnel in the report, the report is considered invalid. You are required to hand-deliver one wet-signed original of the accident report to our office.

What is an Eyewitness Report?

An eyewitness report is distinct from an accident report. It is a report prepared by law enforcement officers on how the incident occurred when one of the parties involved in the accident flees the scene or in the case of an accident resulting in death or injury.

1.e Reasons for Invalidation of an Eyewitness Report:

Even if the damage occurs while the vehicle is parked or in motion, traffic teams should be called to the scene, and a 'Material Damage Traffic Accident Detection Record' should be maintained. The following points should be considered at this stage:

• Confirmation by the police or gendarmerie of whether the damage actually occurred at the scene of the incident or at a different location,

• Checking for traces and signs of the accident at the scene, and if present, reviewing CCTV footage.

• If there is no stamp and registration numbers of personnel in the report, the report is considered invalid.

• Recorded eyewitness reports are entirely based on the customer's declaration and are deemed invalid due to a lack of adequate control.

When you call the Marm Road Assistance line, available 24/7 at the number 444 0 556, and inform the authorities that your vehicle has broken down, a replacement vehicle will be provided.
